About the awards
The Child of Britain Awards will return to JW Marriott Grosvenor House in April 2027, continuing our mission to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of children and young people across the UK.
Our inaugural awards, held on Friday 24th June 2022, marked a truly unforgettable evening. It was a star-studded celebration honouring the courage, talent, and resilience of inspiring young individuals from across the nation. Hosted by Eamonn Holmes OBE, the evening featured memorable performances from The Child of Britain Choir and Calum Scott.
Beyond the celebration, the awards have made a real difference. The 2022 event raised over £61,000 for Cash for Kids, supporting disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK.
We look forward to welcoming you back in 2027 for another inspiring and impactful event.
Nominations will open soon!
The aim of the awards is to recognise and celebrate children and young people who face hardships and challenges every day. These individuals are an inspiration to us as they never complain, never give up – they really do keep calm and carry on.
Once nominations open, you will be able to submit nominations in 11 different categories, ensuring that outstanding personal courage, bravery, sporting and creative achievements are recognised. As well as the children who help others – championing causes in their communities, protecting the environment, caring for others and fundraising.
